Terms of service
Last updated: 17 July 2026 · The short version: use the platform honestly, your data stays yours, and our numbers support — but don't replace — your professional judgement.
1. The service
CO2 Dynamics provides a public carbon-removal intelligence layer (news, market framing, research tools, project directory) and a private carbon-accounting workspace (facilities, activity data, emission factors, analytics, AI advisor, exports), operated by Finite Skills. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate signup information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Workspaces belong to the organisation that created them; the account owner controls its data and users.
3. Plans and payment
The Starter plan is free. Growth and Enterprise plans are billed annually in INR, as listed on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Paid features remain active for the paid period; plans do not auto-renew without a new payment. Plan prices may change with notice — changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you enter. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service (storing, computing, and displaying your data to your organisation). You can export everything as CSV/JSON at any time and request account deletion as described in the privacy policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to access other organisations' data, probe or disrupt the service, abuse the integration API or AI features (including rate abuse), or use the platform for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.
6. Emissions calculations and AI outputs
CO2e figures are computed from the activity data you provide and emission factors (defaults or your overrides). Default factors are indicative, India-oriented values; verify that they suit your reporting context before formal disclosure. AI-generated summaries and suggestions are decision support, not professional, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of any disclosure you make.
7. Intelligence layer content
News headlines are aggregated from public sources and belong to their publishers; links lead to the original stories. Research-lab outputs are model estimates for education and analysis, provided "as is".
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features; material reductions in paid functionality will be communicated.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of platform outputs.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
